Agency Job Types

What types of modeling jobs are there?

There are two basic types of modeling:

Local/Commercial Modeling:

This type of modeling is very flexible because there are as many different sizes, shapes, and colors of models as there are different types of modeling jobs. Talent ranges from babies to senior citizens, from "funny faces" to attractive faces. Everyone has the potential to pursue commercial modeling.

Some examples: Blue Cross & Blue Shield wants to hire talent for a health brochure. They want an elderly couple to promote insurance for senior citizens and they want to hire a family. These models are considered REAL PEOPLE. A lot of times we mix and match people to portray a family or a couple. Hardly ever, do we have the opportunity to hire a real couple or family.

National/High Fashion

Modeling in this area has many restrictions. High Fashion models appear in top fashion magazines. Fashion Mystique's reputation has allowed us to network with national agencies such as Elite, Wilheminia, Ford, IMG, etc. and enables us to promote our models on a national basis. We pride ourselves in giving all of our models the opportunity to pursue their modeling dreams to the highest degree.

High Fashion Models must have a unique look and fit within the height and specific body proportions. Normally female models must be at least 5'8 and very slender and tone under the age of 21 and males must be at least 6' - 40R jacket and an unique look. Chances are very limited that you can pursue High Fashion Modeling as a full time profession. National Agencies are very strict on accepting New Faces into their Agency.
